Want to know where to stay in Ekkamai?
Ekkamai is becoming a hotspot for everything hip and trendy. Located in the Wattana area along Sukhumvit road, Ekkamai offers a mix of entertainment and convenience.
Book a hotel in Ekkamai and you’re promised to be in the middle of it all – hip cafes, beer gardens, chic cocktail bars and nice restaurants. The Ekkamai BTS stop offers the convenience of easily moving around this busy part of Bangkok. And if for some reason you want even more options, then you can always make a hop over to the fashionable neighbor Thonglo.
So where should you stay in Ekkamai?
Ekkamai is mostly a residential area with just a handful of nice hotels and a number of apartments for daily, monthly and long term rental.

Where to stay in Ekkamai
Ekkamai is basically a side street that branches off Sukhumvit road. It’s a relatively compact road that stretches for just over 2 kilometers and all the cool things like hotels, cafes and bars and restaurants are all tightly packed along this street and the smaller side streets leading off it.
This means that no matter which part of Ekkamai you decide to stay in, nothing is going to be too far away. However, if you’re looking for extra convenience, I would say choose a place that is within a short walk to the BTS. This way you can easily move around and explore and visit other places such as Siam for the malls and Nana for the nightlife.
