Are you ready to be served by dancing hunky men in Bangkok?
It’s no secret that Bangkok, Thailand’s vibrant capital city, is one of the best culinary destinations in the world. Whether it’s cheap street food dishes like the famous Pad Thai and Tom Yum to fish and lobsters cooked on the side of the road and sweet bites like the banana roti pancakes.
In a city with such a high concentration of food, something very different needs to be done in order to stand out from the rest. A winning idea would be getting Thai Hot Guys dressed in petite female lingerie revealing their ripped sexy bodies to serve their customers. Not only will you be served by a hot guy, but your server (or a few of them) will also make a naughty dance, humping you in the back as he screams and moans.
But does it cross the line? Definitely not. The waiters, who are also the performers are friendly and put on a fun and entertaining performance.
Where is the Thai Hot Guys Restaurant?
If you entertain the idea of having hot guys dressed in small night dresses serve you tasty seafood dishes, you’ll need to head far out of the hustle and bustle in central Bangkok.
Located in the Lat Phrao district, Staneemeehoi (the name of this restaurant) is one of a few other eateries and stalls in Huamum market.
To get there ride the Sukhumvit BTS (Green Line) to Kasetsart University. From here you’ll need to take a taxi or order a GRAB for the 20 minute ride. Although Staneemeehoi went viral, many taxi drivers don’t actually know the name so you may need to give them your phone with directions. →
Properly choosing where to stay is an important decision. I’ve written this complete article, but personally I find Silom and Sathorn to be the most convenient, specifically the areas near the Saphan Taksin BTS stop where there is affordable places like Oriental Heritage Residence and the boho furnished SO Zen Hotel. There’s the skytrain that goes to Siam, a river shuttle service to the gorgeous Icon Siam mall, and getting to the temples is easy via the public boats since most temples are on or near the Chao Phraya river bank.
There is no shortage of high end hotels such as riverfront properties Shangri-La Bangkok and the chic Salil Hotel Riverside. And if budget is not an issue, the Mandarin Oriental.
How to get to Thai Hot Guys Seafood Restaurant
From Central Bangkok ride the Sukhumvit BTS (Green Line) to Kasetsart University. Walk outside the BTS stop and take a taxi to Huamum market. There usually isn’t any taxis waiting outside the BTS, so its necessary to wave one down. It is best to have the location on your phone to show it to the driver. When we asked the driver for Muamum Market, he did not understand. Maybe we said the name wrong. Another option is to use the ride hailing app GRAB.

What to expect at Staneemeehoi
Staneemeehoi is a seafood restaurant with a decent amount of dishes. From grilled fish, squid, lobsters and absurdly large king prawns. Rice, noodles, omelettes and more are all side options. It the first Bangkok restaurant with male dancers dressed kinky girly clothes offering an a fun performance.
The food
While the main draw isn’t the food, I found all the dishes we had to be quite good. We ordered grilled large king prawn which may have been slightly overcooked. Seafood omelette, a fried rice, also with seafood and stir fried noodles. Obviously, a couple of large Chang beer, with ice.

The performance
Obviously I hadn’t cane here for the food. At least that wasn’t the priority for this night out. It was those Thai Hot Guys, and the fun, slightly cringe performance.
The performance begins with an song intro by a famous Thai band named Carabao. At this point the dancing waiter in Bangkok lift the chairs in the air and then surround guests dancing with them, bobbing them from side to side, humping in the back and just generally performing sensual acts. It is a kinda sexy performance but doesn’t get close to crossing any limits. I think anyone will find themselves entertained.

The price
The price for the food is similar to any other restaurant in Bangkok. Our bill for the king prawn, omelette, rice and noodles and 3 beers was around ฿1200. Just to give you an idea, fish dishes around ฿200 to ฿300 and sides like the rice or omelette are around ฿100 to ฿150.
The performance is free and we were never asked to give a tip or anything. So I think tipping is completely optional. However, we did give a tip of ฿400. After all, those guys are really nice and friendly.
Plans after Bangkok?

Bottomline
I would say for anyone visiting Bangkok, whether it’s your first time or not, definitely experience the Thai hot guys performance at Staneemeehoi. It’s a fun night out. I came here with my girlfriend Jacqueline and she really had a blast. I did too. But if you come here with friends, it would be even better. It’s one of the activities that I recommend to anyone that wants to do something different in Bangkok.
